Ben 10 in cdmx

Filmed in the heart of mexico city, this project utilizes a mix of 3d assets and live action footage to bring ben 10 to life

Maya was used to model and rig the character of “big chill” and the ship, while Unreal engine 5 was used to render out all 3d assets


Big Chill Rig

Being one of my favorite characters of the series, I put a lot of time and dedication when creating the model for big chill.

Knowing that the rig would be passed off to an animator, I made sure to implement the appropriate controls into the wings and the antenna

It all starts with the planning. Before the day of filming, I needed a roadmap for how we were going to make the most of our time.

(and of course not make fools of ourselves, we were going to be filming out in the open after all)
